Sirrus Completes Contract for Wireless Networked Traffic CCTV with the City of Monterrey 
Sirrus Network CCTV products have been chosen by a major system integrator in Mexico to build a fully wireless Traffic-camera management and recording system for the City of Monterrey. In such a busy city, infrastructural considerations made the choice of Wireless IP connectivity a natural one - and one which brought major cost containment as well as an accelerated implementation time scale. Sirrus supplied a quantity of Network cameras and two Sirrus IPVR-212-500 Network Video Recorders to our partner company in Mexico. With just one visit to the UK, their team was trained on the commissioning of the system and within two weeks of return, had the system beginning to come alive in the city. Traffic camera systems can often benefit from a network-technology approach.
