Networks Telecom Show

Sirrus attended the Network Telecom show this year, dedicated to the IT/Telecoms and Networking Industry. We unveiled our new VMS2000 product at the show, the world's first 'Virtual Matrix Switch' for video, allowing large numbers of video cameras to be fully managed, switched and viewed across any IP network, without the need for an analogue matrix.

To the crowds that gathered on to our stand we demonstrated our cameras in Washington DC, USA, showing pictures live in Birmingham right across the public internet. We also demonstrated our new IP video recorder, the IPVR -100, designed to handle recording of IP cameras and codecs on standard IT industry fileservers, and suitable for every kind of for CCTV surveillance.

As the migration over to Video over IP is going to take a while, we know that not all customers who have invested in analogue camera systems will want to replace them with IP ones just yet. We showed Networks Telecom attendees the new IPTX-500, our Network Video Adaptor designed to connect standard analogue PAL CCTV cameras to a LAN or WAN, with no disturbance to existing connections.
