Utility for Sirrus Network Video Recorders - IPVRSCAN
IpvrScan utility
IPVRSCAN is the utility used to "find" the Sirrus network appliances (such as IPVRs) installed within your LAN and to allow you to program their IP address, subnet mask and default gateway. The utility can also synchronise the clock. Right-click on the link above and choose "Save Target As" to download the utility.

RIGHT-click on the link above and choose "Save Target As" to download the utility installer.exe. This will FIND any of the above series of cameras and codecs which do NOT have their IP addresses permanently assigned.

RIGHT-click on each of the two links above and choose "Save Target As" to download the utility setup.exe and also the setup guide. The utility will FIND any of the above series of cameras and codecs whether or not their IP addresses permanently assigned.
Note that while you can use the utility to set a new IP address from any subnet, the subnet mask set in the cameras or codec will by default be 255.255.255.0 regardless of the address space you choose - so you will not be able to reach the camera afterward unless your PC client is in the same subnet as it then has. You can widen the camera's subnet once you have browsed the camera - by visiting the network settings configuration page.
